Comments from pupils' journal

During the mobility in Sweden all pupils wrote journals. 

Here are some comments:

"Today we went to school on a Saturday. Crazy, most of us thought, but it was actually fun."

Date: 6^th April, Thursday

"This day the fun stopped. We got parted. But we gonna soon meet again when the swedish people come to Spain. the day started at 8.00 when the host families drove the spanish pupils to the school and there they waited like 30 minutes for the bus to come and drive them to the Airport."

"Several Spanish people began crying because they didn’t want to go home, and it warmed our hearts since that meant that they enjoyed their visit here."

A final overview of my Erasmus+ experience:

"it was fun to have two different countries meeting because of cranes. and that you got to know new people. it was fun but also tiring to not have the alone-time that you are used to."

"It has been a nice experience!" 

"Today we bid farewell to our Spanish friends with hugs and smiles at 8 o’clock. They left with the bus around half past eight and it was sad seeing them go, but it was still okay because we’ll go to them in November."

"I liked the Erasmus+ project. Even though it wasn’t enough time for us to get to know the Spanish people better, it was still fun meeting them and communicate with English for them to understand. It was also nice doing other things instead of classes and assignments, and the tasks wasn’t that hard or difficult. Overall we had a nice experience and we’re excited to get to know the Spanish students better in the fall."

"The feeling was excited and nervous."

"I think the erasmus+experience was a good opportunity to meet new peoples and make new friends. It was fun but now i am quite tired."

Thurday, 6th April. Day trip back to Spain

 

On the 5th April our pupils got a certificate and we enjoyed a farewell party organized kindly by the Swedish pupils. We flew back to Spain on the 6th with a very positive feeling of this whole experience. Now it's time for the evaluation as a very important of the process. We have asked parents, pupils and teachers participating in this mobility to take a few minutes and complete the evaluation form they will receive via Rayuela or Unikum (schools communication systems). The results of the evaluation will help us improve the next mobility in November.

                                                                 

Wednesday 5th April- School Day at Gudhemsskolam

We had a long programme for today. During the first workshop the pupils finished the videos of natural surroundings (they'll be available on the youtube channel, find it on the right side). They also did the activity of touristic resources in each area. After a short break, they were working out hard with Veronica's Tabata class and we also visited the ruins of Gudhems kloster with Mattias, the English teacher who kindly explained the history around the monastery. After lunch break, a journalist from the local newspaper came to have an interview with us  and two more workshops, the first one to watch the videos and the second to write on our journals. Busy day but we really got things done for the project😊 Now it's time to prepare for the farewell party!

Wednesday 5th April - Day at Naturum

Great day at Naturum with a wonderful guide Niclas who provided us with very interesting information. We took a walk along the lake and we enjoyed the beautiful landscapes, the birds and the history about the lake. Now all of our students have seen our project exhibited at Naturum. And of course more "Swedish fika", thanks a lot to the parents for the delicious barbecue today, you did a great job! 

 

Sweden: Monday 3rd April. Day at Trandansen

Today we had the opportunity to see the cranes at Trandansen information centre. Lots and lots of them! It was amazing! The students were working in three groups and they had three workshops : butterfly searching, bird bingo and cranes spotting. They also learnt more about the cranes in the exhibition and talked to the tourists and birdwatchers there. After that, they used all the information to complete the didactic guide and do the maths graphs, which are two of the activities included in our project.

Saturday 1st April: Workshops at school

Today it's different for our students because they have class on a Saturday! But we have prepared some fun activities for them. There several workshops: wood and textile crafts, interviews and news writing for dissemination activities, and disection at the science lab.
